Rain water harvesting
Our Institution focuses on water conservation through rainwater harvesting. The Institution has rainwater storage tanks (Block B and Block C). The rainwater harvested is utilized by the department of chemistry as distilled water for its laboratory use.

Borewell / Open well recharge
Borewell recharge system (drain pits) is constructed in all blocks of the campus. This facility recharges the ground water level in and around the campus. The rainwater collected from the roofs is fed to the drain pits for recharge. Conservation from rain water harvesting system has ensured that there is no water scarcity in the campus right through the year.

Waste water recycling
The college takes adequate care to recycle waste water by necessary means. Discharge water from RO plant is fed to the open pond for recharge. In addition, waste water generated from the canteen is used to water the nearby garden.

Maintenance of water bodies and distribution system
Water tanks, fitted with float sensors, powered by pumps fitted with timers ensure equitable water supply and distribution throughout the camps. RO water treatment system (UV treated) installed in our campus takes care of the drinking water needs of students and teachers. The Institution has a well-planned water distribution system which provides 24 hours water supply throughout the campus. The tanks are maintained at regular intervals. All the damages and leakages in plumbing are rectified on time to avoid water wastage. The Institution takes efforts to create awareness on rainwater harvesting and water conservation measures among the students through Environmental Studies education and other activities.
