This Research Policy forms the basics of the research ethics of the college and is implemented in all the departments and it serve as the guidelines for the functioning of the Research council of the college. Research is the foundation of knowledge that brings new energy, builds state of the art facilities, promotes research publications, develops collaborations and becomes part of active community that shares the mission objectives. Taking these into considerations, The Madura College (Autonomous), framed and implemented its Research Policy.
RESEARCH COMMITEE
Functions
- Preparation of research policy document.
- Conduct of workshops related to Intellectual Property Rights, Patenting and Research methodology.
- Maintain subscription to INFLIBNET-NLIST and to generate userid and password to research scholars and staff members.
- Keep a record of all publications.
- Maintain a database of all research scholars, the topic of their research and upload in the college website.
- Maintain a database of publications.

RESEARCH ETHICS COMMITEE
Functions
Ethical principles are prerequisite to the educational purposes and fairness of the academic institutions. The Madura College postulates that the faculty members and research scholars embrace high standard code of ethics for academic and research work. The college promotes high ethical values, appropriate use of methods, socially and scientifically relevant subject matters for research, transparency in reviewing research work, independence in disseminating research outcomes.
Research Ethics Committee is constituted with the following responsibilities:
- To ensure integrity, quality and ethics in research.
- To implement code of ethics in research.
- To carryout plagiarism check for the projects submitted by PG students.
