BRIEF HISTORY

The Self Financed Stream was started in the year 1983-84 with a view to help the students, who could not get seats in the regular academic stream, and for those who are employed and desire to continue with their higher studies.

Self Financed stream became autonomous in 2003 and it provides a calm, disciplined academic ambiance for the students to learn and to grow as responsible citizens.

Vision of the college management and the hard work of the faculties helped in starting B.Sc. Information Technology in the academic year 2008-'09.

• To provide the strong academic foundation in theories and practical of Information Technology.
• To enhance the students knowledge in the latest technologies by organizing and participating in technical programs.
• To encourage the students to deliver their innovative designs and become the successful IT professionals.

PROGRAMMES OFFERED

FUTURE PLAN:

• Conducting Aptitude Test, Technical Test, and Mock Interviews for final year students to increase employment opportunities in IT Industries.
• Special coaching classes for the students appearing for Higher Education and competitive examinations.
  (TANCET/CUET/NET/SET/TOEFL/GRE/IELTS/GATE/CAT)
• Adding the proposal of MoUs to encourage the students to participate in more internship programme to do their projects.
